Background

This full service heating, ventilation, air conditioning and plumbing repair and retail organization with multiple locations throughout the southeast had hundreds of appointment slots available within the last quarter of the year.  It was essential that the organization fill these open slots by engaging previous customers for plumbing winterization services, as well as selling excess inventory of tank-less water heaters before the end of the year.

Strategy

A targeted display campaign was the best recommendation for immediate impact, using the database of the HVAC company's previous customers.  This client data was matched against our proprietary IP targeting technology to deliver display advertisements directly to these specific customer households online. Using only our online display campaign, we were tasked to fill all available appointment slots for the remaining 74 days of the year.

Results

Within 34 days the client was able to engage approximately 18,500 previous customer households, with an average of 20 times per household, and filling 100% of all remaining appointment slots!  The IP targeting allowed them to engage the specific households known to have a higher probability to convert into active business, and removed the noise and wasted impressions that can occur in other types of advertising. By helping the client reach their goal 40 days before the scheduled end of their campaign, it was a true win-win for everyone involved!
